Pelion stretches from the outskirts of Volos to Trikeri 150km and the Pelion Mountain 40km across, surrounding the Pagasitic gulf in the South and the Aegian Sea in the North East. Besides five thousand years of history, architecture and cultural tradition, Pelion boasts of over two thousand plant species, breathtaking scenery, nature reserves, beaches with crystal clear waters and unforgettable sunsets.

Pelion has 6000 wild flowers and 2500 wild plant species, second only to the Cape Provence of South Africa for floral diversity.
